Babette Brown (born in South Africa) is a writer on race and diversity issues in the United Kingdom. She has written many books on cultural difference such as "Unlearning Discrimination in the Early Years" (1998)() and "Combatting Discrimination: Persona Dolls in Action" (2001) (). In 1997 Brown won "The Guardian" Jerwood Award for her work with her charity EYTARN (Early Years Trainers Anti Racist Network). She often writes for "Nursery World" magazine.
